Telehealth Interventions that Make a Difference

Dr. Diane Gehart shares her three favorite interventions specifically adapted for online use with clients that:

  • Integrate concepts from cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), narrative, solution-focused, and trauma-informed approaches.

  • Actually work better via telehealth than face-to-face

  • Include downloadable Word documents you can use in session today!

What is covered?

  • Mood Tracker

Integrates narrative concept of preferred identities with classic CBT thoughts/feelings/behavior work, with an optional adaptation for bipolar disorder.

  • Fact Checker

A new spin on the classic CBT thought record that clients will actually complete--with your guidance in-session!

  • Trauma Timeline

Particularly helpful for clients with multiple past traumas, this dynamic intervention offers a more permanent place to collect memory fragments often remembered out-of-order.
